Football (soccer): League in Beckham's last game, Madrid finally won league in last round with 3-1 victory over Mallorca; Results. Spain beat Latvia and Liechtenstein; UEFA: Sevilla beat Espanyol in the the Hampden Park final. Champions' League Valencia lost to Chelsea in last minute. Reina put Liverpool into final.

Americas Cup sailing (from Valencia): Spanish Desafío got into semifinals against New Zealand, finally lost 2-5, but much better than expected. Menawhile, Italian Luna Rossa lost to New Zealand in Louis Viutton cup and goes on to face the Alinghi in the final cup challenge.
