Football (soccer): European Cup Champions' League Barcelona lost to Liverpool,Valencia drew at Inter, Madrid beat Bayern 3-2; Spain beat England 1-0 in friendly as warm up to selection round; League Barcelona leads league after 24th round with Sevilla right on heels, Madrid helped to victory over Real Sociedad in 22nd by 'pardoned' Beckham; UEFA: all 4 clubs in top 2 of groups.
