Motor: Carlos Sainz takes 7th position in Catalonia Rally to lose Rally WC leadership (but on equal points) to Loeb - all to be decided in British rally. 125cc Bike World Champion Dani Pedrosa -18 years old just last month- broke both ankles in training rounds for Ozzie GP - now recovering from op; Toni Elías down to 3rd position in 250 and Sete Gibernau still 2nd in MotoGP... with a race still to go to clarify results. In Formula 1, Fernando Alonso ended the season in 6th position, breaking most records on youth.
Cycling: Joanna Somarriba, 3 times Ladies' Tour winner now proclaimed World Champion; Tour de france won Principe de Asturias sport prize in its centenary year - Indurain was a previous winner
Tennis, Juan Carlos Ferrero opens Paris masters in hope of reaching final tournamet in Houston as leader in Masters' Series; all eyes on Spain's Davis cup team in Melbourne final- November Ferrero and Moyà confirmed as sure players
Football (soccer): Deportivo La Coruña leads Spanish league; Beckham now recovering from injury but will not play next game against Zaragoza - key game for both teams, with Madrid tired after lot of recent games.
Basketball: Tau Ceramica leads ACB league, with no lost games.
Handball: Barcelona wins final of European Super cup.
Golf: Sergio García, best Spaniard in 6th position in Madrid Open; all eyes now on Volvo Masters at Valderrama.

TV Good News! Buenas Nuevas TV, the new look and now weekly evangelical TV programme, started broadcasts on TVE on Sunday 5th October at 08.30 local time (07.30 GMT).

We have several reports which will be uploaded in due course, but brings good word of encouragement. October brings full renewal of activity for churches. Thank you for praying!

During October there are several training and resources events, including an evangelism training course by Decision and a G12 conference, both in the Madrid area, plus several men's retreats, etc..
