News August 2003War of the Worms: Panda 'warns' of a saviour virus which destroys 'Blaster' (Lovesan)19 August. Spain's nº1 Antivirus company Panda has just advised of a new virus which has been found to delete Blaster/Lovesan and its effects from your computer. If only there were a 'virus' capable of deleting sin and its effects... a few of us might be out of a job! The new virus comes from China, installs the Microsoft RPC patch which repairs the very problem that enabled it to multiply and if the year is 2004 will self destruct. This virus appears, unfortuately, to be far less reproductive than SoBig or Lovesan itself! And no, it's not April 1st! |
